2011 Seattle NFF Scholar-Athlete Awards

The Seattle Chapter's 46th Annual Scholar-Athlete Banquet will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 10:00am at CenturyLink Field.

Each year, the Seattle Chapter awards scholarships to local Scholar-Athletes. The process begins when athletes are nominated by their coaches. Each school is represented by two seniors: one back and one lineman. Coaches and their two nominees are invited to be our guests at our Awards Ceremony and Banquet on Sunday, February 12, 2012.

A selection committee consisting of former coaches, players and administrators perform the difficult task of narrowing the list down to four backs and four linemen. At our the Awards Ceremony, one back and one lineman receive a Scholar-Athlete Scholarship of $2000. Each of the remaining six finalists receive a scholarship of $500.

We are using a simplified process for the coaches this year. Just fill out the nominee form and send it to us. We will contact your players and start the application process.

Printable versions of the nomination forms and scholarship applications are available (in Adobe PDF format). These documents can be downloaded, printed, filled in, and submitted by postal mail or fax.

Note: To be considered for any of the Scholar-Athlete awards, all forms (by the Coach and Athletes) must be returned no later than January 14, 2012.

Additional Tickets For The Awards Ceremony

Each school's head coach and two nominated scholar-athletes are invited to the brunch and awards ceremony as our guests. Additional tickets for the event can be purchase by mail for $20 each, using the nomination forms.
